Eastern Aero Marine Rafts - Alpha SAM T4S Series Type II
Alpha SAM T4S Series Features
For Part 91, 121, 135 Operators (GA, Corporate, Helicopter)
Single Tube Multi-Chamber
Rated capacity 4, Overload capacity 6
Compact, lightweight. Constructed of neoprene coated nylon
High tech inflation system
Competitively priced
Automatic erecting canopy with inflatable canopy support.
Bright fluorescent orange canopy with retro-reflective tape panels for improved visibility.
Boarding ladder in the front and rear.
Self-inflating double floor for insulation in frigid waters standard on all rafts. Floor inflates automatically with the raft so no need to inflate the floor by hand pump after boarding. Inflated floor also provides back-up, emergency flotation.
Main buoyancy tube is constructed from only two pieces of fabric reducing the number of seams and potential leakage points.
Main buoyancy tube is divided into two separate, air holding compartment by two vertical bulkheads inside the tube.
Total of four (4) independent air-holding compartments (two in the main buoyancy tube, the canopy arch, and the inflatable floor). Loss of pressure in one or more of the compartments will not cause the remaining compartments to drop below minimum design pressure.
High pressure nitrogen inflation system for rapid cold weather inflation.
Inflation system pressure gauge visible from outside of all packs for quick in-service checks.
Cylinder inflation valve using puncture disc technology for long term leak resistance.
Three (3) year recommended frequency of inspection.
Survival kits packed in sealed, waterproof nylon pouch.
All 135 and 135/JAR survival kits include a reverse osmosis Watermaker.
Four extra large Icelandic type water ballast bags provide for stability/capsize resistance. Bags are weighted for quick, automatic deployment.
Automatic deploying sea anchor.
Exterior lifeline and interior grasp lines.
